Tax Exemption Policy (Canada)

M-Tech is required to collect GST (5%) on all orders shipped within Canada, as well as provincial PST where applicable. Some provinces allow PST/RST exemption for registered businesses, but only if a valid exemption certificate is provided and approved in advance. No exemption can be applied automatically.

To request PST exemption, customers must email their official exemption certificate to: [email protected] Our accounting team will review the document within 24–48 hours.

British Columbia (BC)

PST Exemption Certificate – FIN 490
Valid BC PST Registration Number (Resale)

Saskatchewan (SK)

Saskatchewan PST Vendor’s Licence / Retailer’s Permit Number
Official SK PST Exemption Certificate Form

Manitoba (MB)

Manitoba Retail Sales Tax (RST) Exemption Certificate – Form RG-1
Valid Manitoba RST Number (Resale)

Important Notes:

GST (5%) always applies. No exemption is possible.
PST/RST exemption applies only after certificate approval.
Exemptions cannot be applied retroactively to past orders.
Customers remain responsible for the validity of their certificate.
